Standard 6, communication. A teacher must be able to use knowledge of effective verbal, nonverbal, and media communication techniques to foster active inquiry, collaboration, and supportive interaction in the classroom.

This posting is a web page that I created for an educational technology class.  The web page is entitled, Two Years in Jordan.  A number of years ago my family and I spent two years living, teaching, and going to school in Amman, Jordan, and my web page is a condensed account of our stay there.

To extend this form of communication, students could be engaged in creating i-movies of science experiments, for example, and document and narrate each stage of discovery as part of their investigation and presentation.
